Knitting 101 After only one session you will be able to cast on, purl, and begin your first project. Wed Jan 23 7:00 PM - 9:30 Tue Feb 26 7:00 PM - 9:30 Yarn and needles included $60 per person Knitting 102 Develop more advanced skills as you learn to read patterns and charts, as well as various ways to increase and decrease. Tue Feb 12 7:00 PM - 9:00 Yarn and needles included $45 per person Sweater Workshop Learn how to make your first sweater. This 4-session workshop will take you step by step through reading a pattern and learning sweater-making techniques. Wed Mar 5 - Mar 26 7:30 PM - 9:30 (Offered through Greenwich Continuing Ed. Please call 203-625-7474 to enroll. Materials must be purchased at The Knitting Niche prior to the first class. $89 per person.) Private Classes How about a private lesson for you and your daughter or son? Sign up for private instruction by appointment.	Ready to Cable Take your knitting one step further and learn the fine technique of cable stitch. In this class you will learn how to follow written instructions and how to apply this skill to your simple knits. Taught by Vanessa Cayton. Tue Feb 5 7:00 PM - 9:00 $45 per person Suitable Seams Learn a variety of techniques to seam together garment sections to create the illusion that the garment was created in one continuous piece. When you're done, you'll know how to produce nearly invisible transitions by selecting the most appropriate seaming process to join particular stitch patterns and determining the precise location to insert the sewing needle for optimum results. Taught by renowned professional knitter and knitting instructor Judy Pascale. Sat Feb. 16 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM $65 per person Finishing with Finesse Discover innovative techniques to vary, customize and modernize patterns. You will see how and where to modify instructions to achieve the perfect fit and finish. Learn the best way to finish items even where there are limited or no instructions. Learn finishing variations that give a smoother, sophisticated finish. Taught by Judy Pascale. Sat Apr 19 11:00 AM - 4:00 $60 per person
